I followed the instructions (I thought) for hfsplus on C7.
Installed elrepo
Then installed hfsplus hfsplus-tools and kmod-hfsplus kmod-hfs
rpm -qa | grep hfs clearly shows the items

kmod-hfs-0.0-2.el7.elrepo.x86_64

HFSPlus Question
In CentOS 7.2.1511 does the 3.10.0-327.18.2.el7.centos.plus.x86_64 (Plus)
kernel read HFSPlus iMac drives? I don't see any hfsplus modules installed
anywhere, so I suspect not. My sister's 17" iMac died, and I'm trying to
recover the drive. If it spins up, I'd like to copy it with dd.
I see that Elrepo has kmod-hfsplus and hfsplus-tools, will these work with
the Plus k...

I redid the listing

Mounting a Mac OS Extended (Journaled) Hard Drive
...8Tb of data from a Mac Fibre Channel RAID to by LVM Ext3 Linux Fibre Channel RAID. For speed I planned to connect both RAID's to my CentOS Server and copy the data directly.
The Mac volume is formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) it seems that CentOS 5.4 supports reading HFS volumes but not HFSPlus volumes. Is there a way of getting this volume to mount so I can copy of the data? I see Fedora has HFSPlus support
Thanks

It's in mainline so I don't know why it would not be built. It certainly
exists on Fedora. You could get Fedora live image, dd to a USB stick and it
will boot the Mac.

Hyper-V v2v
Hi list,
What is the best method to migrate Hyper-V 2012 VM to oVirt/RHEV ? I
made a v2v livecd, but it never load consoles and never launch p2v
service (works well with BIOS VM or hardware, but G2 HyperV VM needs EFI
to boot).
I must add some packages on my system to build an EL7 (kmod-hfsplus from
elrepo) and some other to boot on EFI :
#boot EFI
grub2
grub2-efi
grub2-efi-modules
grub2-tools
efibootmgr
shim
hfsplus-tools

How to recognize an MBR suitable for isohybrid --mac ?

The booting system wants to see this in its /dev/...

isohybrid: slint64-14.1.iso: unable to find mac efi image
...PT start and size : 3 3100 5472

I forgot to advise (or misadvise) -isohybrid-apm-hfsplus with
the image /isolinux/efiboot.img . So we only got one APM
partition here. A slight deviation from mjg59's layout.
It is a lie to give efiboot.img the partition type Apple_HFS.
isohybrid.c does it that way. So the perfect mimic would be
-e isolinux/efiboot.img \
-isohybrid-gpt-basd...

isohybrid --mac doesn't find the mac efi image
I posted this on the bugzilla page but I figured that on the mailing
list it would get more attention. Please see
http://bugzilla.syslinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49 for a description of my
current issue.

At least the ISO will then have MBR, GPT and APM entries for the file
macboot.img.
I did that, and also tried the xorriso command you posted.
I uploaded both ISO images on http://slint.fr/misc/MacBoot resp. renamed:

Writing on an HFS+ drive on raspberry pi
...it couldn't create the sparsebundle image. Also, if I access the samba drive from finder I cannot create folders nor delete/rename them. So, I realised that the problem must lie within permissions.
So far the steps that I have taken to get towards the right direction are:
1) I have installed hfsplus, hfsutils, hfsprogs to give HFS plus support to the Rpi.
2) Disabled journaling on the drive. I have read in a few forums that journaling prevents Linux systems from writing on hfsplus drives.
3) Edited the /etc/fstab to force mount the drive as -rw. From the command mount the drive appears to be m...
