[LLVMdev] "masm syntax" for X86 backend

I would really hesistate in removing this. All of the Intel and AMD manuals
use this syntax.
Certainly the printer needs some work and I've actually got it on my TODO list
to look at it. I won't be able to get to it for a while, though.
It's not a simple matter of deleting files, as all of the X86 .td files...

Again, I'm not talking about the syntax, I'm talking about MASM
*directive support*. -x86-asm-syntax=intel will still spit out "intel
syntax" instructions.

Embedding, core dumps, etc.
Well, nothing has changed in the issues that I brought up earlier,
except that I can confirm core dumps in non-threaded lisps as well
(CLISP), using svn version 37840 (this morning, Seattle time) for
R-2-3-patches. I've not tried Thomas' suggested fixes, as I'm
hesistant to go down the road of fixing R in such a way that would
require constant patching.

TE420 PCI Express Card
Hi,
Does anybody have any feedback on this new card from Digium? It was
announced a couple of weeks ago but now Digium said they ran out and is
no longer available for purchase via their web site. I find this kind
off odd. If they are out why don't they just says its on backorder or
something, rather than pulling it off completely from the store.
I am kind of hesistant at this point

Vulnerabilities needed in Windows NT!
...w as well, e.g by cc on the message!)
this message is also intended to encourage people to _actively_ find ways
to crash Windows NT... AND TO BE RESPONSIBLE ABOUT IT (by sticking to the

if you need to know what kind of things to put in a report, please do not
hesistate to ask.

[Bug 30286] New: Rendering Artefacts for "EffectFrames" with KWin trunk
...vg and text textures.
The relevant code is in kwin trunk scene_opengl.cpp [1]
SceneOpenGL::EffectFrame::render() at line 2002. An example for creating a
texture can be found in SceneOpenGL::EffectFrame::updateTextTexture() at line
2264. If you want to have any other information to the code, do not hesistate
to ask, as I recently refactored that code.
I am using nouveau, dri and kernel from debian experimental. glxinfo says it's

Does XEN support crash carts?
While VNC is good enough, it doesnt work
if the NIC is down. So is there a way to switch
amongst guest VMs once a crash carts
monitor/keyboard/mouse is attached to the
video/USB/etc. ports (on the back of the physical
box running XEN)?
For the network down (out-of-band)
emergencies, is there a way to
switch amongst domain and/or guest VM
consoles once a crash cart terminal

integrating vbulletin
Has anyone successfully integrated (embedded) vbulletin into a rails
app? I would be curious to see if/how this worked.
RForum still seems quite beta so I am looking for something a little
more tried and true.
thanks

RubyODBC bus error under Rails
Hi all,
I''ve got a very obscure problem. We''re trying to get Rails to talk to
Filemaker. So we''ve setup an ODBC dsn and via RubyODBC we''re talking
to it. Excellent. Try it under rails and rails won''t even startup,
getting bus errors anytime we require ''odbc''.
Environment
OSX Tiger 10.4.6
Rails 1.1.2
Ruby 1.8.4
RubyODBC 0.998

Current status of webgen 0.4.3 and 0.5.0 (new plugin system)
...and I have already ported
some plugins to test the new infrastructure.
Other things planned for webgen 0.5.0:
* possibility to localize any file in the src directory
* blogging support (yeah, I know, already said that for 0.4.0)
Again: if anyone has comments/suggestions/critics, don''t hesistate to
tell me!
webgen 0.5.0 plugin system
--------------------------
Prior to webgen 0.5.0 plugins were just Ruby files. This changes in
0.5.0 with the concept of a plugin bundle.
A plugin bundle is a directory containing plugins and their
resources. Consider the following:

Help with filing a [maybe] ZFS/mmap bug.
Hi All,
I have what I think is a ZFS related bug. Unfortunately my simplest
test case is a bit cumbersome and I haven't definitively proven that
the problem is ZFS related.
I'm hoping for some feedback on how to move forward.
Quick background: I rip my CD's using grip and produce flac files. I
tag the music using Musicbrainz' Picard and transcode it to mp3's
within Picard
