Hello, this is quite a minor issue but as summary() is in all likelihood one of the most widely used functions in R I decided to email this list. When producing a count of missing values, summary() in English generates an unnecessary and grammatically incorrect apostrophe (NA's rather than NAs) in its table header. Writing R Extension[1] defines "API" as: Entry points which are documented in this manual and declared in an installed header file. These can be used in distributed packages and will only be changed after deprecation. I have a problem in where i generate m independent draws from a binomial distribution, say draw1 = rbinom( m , size.a, prob.a ) then I need to use each draw to generate a beta distribution. So, like using a beta prior, binomial likelihood, and obtain beta posterior, m many times. I have not found out a way to vectorize draws from a beta distribution, so I have an explicit for loop
