Distortion of voice after cvs upgrade
...all clearly, but the outside caller heres distorted
voice. ie, to the caller, call is intermittent.
Before the CVS upgrade, the call quality was fine.
We did the CVS upgrade cos, earlier version had probs, when restarting
PRI channels.
pls help us to solve this prob, this is very mission critical.

No detection of Line Busy
...er hear busy tone and thats all,
asterisk doesn't execute the second line.
even when the ext. 55 is busy, still the asterisk log says,that zap line
as answered.
I need to get this thing settled quickly, cos, this is a already found
feature in our office hardware PBX.
Can anyone pls help me????

CentOS 7 AMIs and deletion of root volumes on AWS when terminating instances
...lumes on termination. It appears this is the way that the AMIs were
created. The AWS Linux AMIs appear to have this enabled. So they do
delete their root volumes on termination.
Does anyone know why the CentOS AMIs are created so that they don't
delete their root volumes on termination?

[sh4] klibc SIGILL
Hi sh4 porters,
I?ve just fixed a regression of klibc to build from source
on sh4 using the sumotsu.debian.net porterbox (thanks for
making one available) and found a problem with your archi-
tecture: all binaries built with klibc (shared and static)
get a SIGILL (illegal instruction).
I suspect that different CFLAGS are needed. Please, someone,
have a look at it; a release of klibc 2.0 upstream

rsync hang, more details [LONG]
rsync 2.5.0 still has a bug where it hangs under some circumstances.
The hang is beyond my abilities to track down. I'll keep trying,
though, but here are details in case they're of use to anyone else:
- Code configured & built on Solaris 2.5.1.
- Same binary run on Solaris 2.5.1 (client) and 2.8 (server).
- Using rsh transport, but also fails with ssh
- Does not fail with
