I can''t get mod_fcgid to work
Hi,
I just installed mod_fcgid on my apache2 server.
When I try to load my application I get an
"Application error - Rails application failed ..." message.
In my Apache2 error-log it says:
Premature end of script headers dispatch.fcgi
mod_fcgid process /data/www/app/dispacth.fcgi exit (communication
error),
terminated by calling exit(), return code 1
Any help with this would be

Log rotation and combining...
So, the question is, why can I rotate the log manually, but cron returns a permission error? Do I need to tell cron to run it as sudo or something like that?

Oh wait, you crossposted to the postfix list. Please keep the discussion
there going, you have a postfix issue, not a dovecot one ;)

Hosting multiple Rails applications with Mongrel
Hi,
I run a small web hosting company. We host a few Rails applications using
Apache 2.2 and mod_fcgid.
I have been experimenting with Mongrel and mod_proxy. But I can''t seem to
figure out how to host multiple
Rails - apps with mongrel. Do I have to start a new Mongrel process for
every virtual host on a different port?
Any help would be great.

release plan for dovecot antispam plugin?
Hi,
I noticed that someone took over the development of the dovecot antispam
plugin, and the is currently hosted at dovecots hg repo. Great to see
that the plugin is not dead! ;)
I created a gentoo ebuild that builds the plugin from the repo, and the
plugin seems to work nice with dspam (using mailtrain backend). I'm
running a checkout from Tue Sep 21 16:14:48 2010.
However, it is lacking a

Different realm for different listeners?
I see this has been asked a few times over the years (but not in several
years), and the response was along the lines of "maybe someday", so I
figured I'd see if someday was here yet...
I have a need to have a different default realm for different listeners.
Basically, I've a bunch of different domains, and a few of them insist

Hello list,
Is there a way to call a spam filter in dovecot-lda like maildrop uses

IPhone wont delete IMAP messages from dovecot mailbox
Hello!
I've got dovecot running with postfix. Have virtual users under vmail
folder.
When I connect with outlook, I can read, delete messages.
When I sign on with webmail, also can delete messages,
Mutt is working as well on the mail server, can delete messages.
Once the message is deleted it moves to the trash. Works as it
supposed to.
But on Iphone, when I add a mail user, got the
