some EICON Diva 4BRI questions
...choices. Either use the Eicon
drivers included in 2.6 and divactrl or use the source packages from
eicon and the tools included. Here I'm not sure which method is better.
Further I do not know how this is related with isdn4linux or other linux
ISDN stuff. From: http://www.eicon.com/support/helpweb/slnxen/asterisk.asp
1. "Ensure that you do not have the ISDN4Linux driver or the HiSax
driver installed." What is the ISDN4Linux driver? Is is something
generic in Linux or do they talk about a certain ISDN4Linux driver for
Eicon cards?

EICON Diva 4BRI
Are there any step by step instrunctions on how to install drivers and I

Just need to use it to handle voice on 2 BRI circuits (UK) then utilise
with Asterisk and some Digium cards handling POTS phones (and some VoIP
out the back).
It's the EICON card stuff and how to make it all work I'm finding

rxfax() problem - fax signal seems to be ignored
....5severy 3 seconds), and that Asterisk application app_rxfax() answer
with an
exactly identical tone.
I am not very specialist of T.30 protocol, but I thought that in this case
SPANDSP would have answered with a CED tone (a 2100Hz tone during 2.5s),
like explained here (http://www.eicon.com/support/helpweb/dssdk/i200.htm)
This is not the case in my setup. What did I wrong?
Thx for your help.

Asterisk BRI in the USA
Hey all,
It such a shame that BRI technology is such a flop in the USA. For a
small office such as mine it would be a great product. So her goes my
question.... What is a known asterisk working BRI card that will
operate in the USA. I need to weigh price/quality. I need to do
DID/DDI (or what ever you want to call it). Asterisk will do everything
else I need. The ILEC has at the other
