Greek symbols (again but more complicated)
Hi.
I'm trying to get 'mu' to show up as a Greek symbol but, despite trying every example I could find, can't get it to work. Any insights would be welcome.
This is what I'm using that works, but displays mu with the letter u.

"text"-function: adding text in an x,y-plot
...a$PC1, pca$PC2, labels=lab)
- in the plot there is now c(1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,2) displayed instead of s1-s10
is out there any idea what i'am doing wrong? is there maybe another way of
displaying the samplenames at the right x,y-coordinate?
greetings from the sunny tirol with thanks in advance

RSQLite - How to express(or save) a dataframe as an output?

library(RSQLite)
write('** Initializing','')

samba and vista workstation logins
Helli All,
I am trying to get our Samba "homes" file server to work with Vista
workstation logins. The following is what I am getting ONLY on Vista
workstations in the samba.log. ( XP & 2000 machines do not get this.)
I did add the
[profiles.V2}
copy = profiles
Hoping this might be the fix...

question on isoMDS
...tance between objects 19 and 20"
The objects 19 and 20 have the same variables in the same way and therefore
they have a zero distance.
My question is: Is it possible to perform an isoMDS with a data set where
some samples have the same variables in the same way?
with greetings from Tyrol

[R-pkg] New packages pmg, gWidgets, gWidgetsRGtk2
I'd like to announce three new packages on CRAN: pmg, gWidgets, and

The pmg package for R provides a relatively simple graphical user
interface for R in a manner similar to the more mature RCmdr package.
Basically this means a menu-driven interface to dialogs that collect
arguments for R functions. This GUI was written with an eye towards
