kstest vs shapirotest
...ut a problem in ks tests using a large sample size and working with subsets (e.g file[,])? Comparing tests with qqplots, I would appreciate shapiro, but I am wondering about the results from ks (test ist not very sensitive, D=1, p=2.2e-16 many times?
Thanks
Sibylle

Shapiro-Wilk normality test
data: Biotree[Ac, ]$Height2008

One-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test
data: Biotree[Ac, ]$Height2008

dnorm
...(skewed). xs:range of y-values, ys: dnorm function
Problem:
I expected to multiply the ys function with the sample size (n=250-300). I was wondering about a factor between 12'000 and 30'000 to match the size of the dnorm line with the specific histogram.
Thanks
