> 2GB memory?
Can R (2.0.1) running under a 32 bit Linux use more than 2 GB of RAM? I have a server with 8 GB (heh heh) but R seems to never use more than 2. The only documentation I've found is the man page and it's a little vague on memory issues. Thanks! Rob

Configuring Asterisk
Hey list, I'm having problems to get running *. I don't have any digium hardware yet. I just want to perfrom some tests using SIP. I compiled asterisk and zaptel with ztdummy enabled on Fedora Core 3. When I try to start ztdummy I get the following message: localhost# modprobe ztdummy Notice: Configuration file is /etc/zaptel.conf line0: Unable to open master device /dev/zap/ctl 1

Grandstream Budgetone BT-101 audio problems
...All phones are running firmware 1.0.6.7, and are identically configured (except for the user/authenticate/password things) on both the phone side and in sip.conf. After a few hours of relatively heavy use, the phone stops sending the remote party's voice to the BT-101 person. Someone else (me, heh heh) listening in to the call via ZapScan can hear both sides just fine, so it doesn't seem to be Asterisk's problem, at least directly. I've tried simply power cycling the phones. Doing that buys me a bit of time, sometimes a minute, sometimes ten. But the problem always comes back re...

Call waiting on X100P
I have Asterisk setup in a SOHO environment. I have 2 X100P cards at Zap/1 and Zap/2. I have 1 TDM400P card with Zap/3 - Zap/5. I have subscribed to callwaiting, callerid and calleridcallwaiting from Qwest on the 2 PSTN lines - Zap/1 and Zap/2. My problem is when I'm in an active call to the outside thru Zap/1 or Zap/2, I can't pickup the incoming callwaiting call. I can see the
