AD Authentication help please?
I am having a problem which with much help from this list I have gotten
90% complete. I am attempting to create a samba server which will
authenticate users as a Domain member server using active directory.
The question I have is how can I map a specific container which is not
an OU but a CN in the active directory?
Any help is appreciated.

AD Auth 2003
...the samba source distro. So what goes into
/etc/pam.d/samba or /etc/pam.d/login ??
When I attempt to access a share on this server, I see no errors but can

See below for details of setup -
Any thoughts appreciated,
Edward

Maybe OT?

an alchemist for doing that - despite the deceased foul involved in
getting this setup - it is now working very well.
My problem comes in that logging from AD is constantly complaining about
failed authentication. I assume that as the User ID field shows only the
SID that AD can not (reverse) map the user - so
