Improving video for Windows7 kvm guest on fc14
Hi,
I have an existing windows7 x86_64 kvm guest running on fedora14
x86_64 with a Radeon HD5700 at 1680x1050, and would like to improve
the resolution of the Windows guest. How can I change the Windows
driver to something more capable than "standard vga"? It currently
reports there is only 16MB of RAM at available at 1440x900. How can I
increase this? I've tried using virsh or...

ATI/AMDs atikmpag.sys BSOD while vga passthrough
...I created it using BluescreenView. This is more for currectly
identifieng the different BSODs, I guess.
Some Infos:
Kernel: 3.7.4 kernel.org kernel without patches
Xen: latest xen-unstable (but also tested with xen-4.2-testing)
Processor: AMD Phenom 1090T
Mainboard: Asus Crossfire IV
VGA: Radeon HD5700 and Radeon HD5450
Driver: Currently running Catalyst 13/1 but tested nearly everything
between 12/1 and 13/1

I think the main difference to most other is that I am still using xm
over xl because it seems much more stable to me and vga passthrough
works like a charm.
I''m Using an AMD Phenom 2 X1090T on a Asus Crosshair IV, 16GB
DDR3-1600 RAM, an AMD HD5700 and an AMD HD5450 (passive cooling) card.
Oh, and a an advice: If you want to seperate domUs with VGA you should
keep in mind that you have to think of somethink concerning your sound
because the emulated sound kind of sucks. I solved this for me with
passing my onboard sound to the windows VM and...
