What happend to /sys/xen and independent_wallclock (Xen 4.0/Linux 2.6.32)
Hi all, finally I have managed to upgrade to Xen 4.0 (actually it reports Xen 4.1-unstable) and Debian''s Linux kernel 2.6.32-4-xen-amd64. Now I am wondering what happend to independent_wallclock. There is no more /sys/xen and sysctl complains error: "xen.independent_wallclock" is an unknown key Does anybody know more about this? Thanks + best regards, Stephan

WINS resolving problem
Hello, I have the following problem with NetBIOS name resolving using nmbd. Here's my configuration: Subnet A (domain A) contains Win95/98/NT and Samba nodes. They can see each other only via broadcast. None of these has WINS enabled. On subnet B (domain B) all nodes have WINS enabled and there is a local master browser for domain B on the net. The WINS server is a Linux 2.2 based router

Domain Joined Windows 7 and Roaming Profiles
Hello all, has anybody managed to get Windows 7 (final) to use roaming profiles? Windows 7 is joined to my Samba 3.4.1 domain and always logs me in with a temporary profile. Windows XP works without problems. Thanks for your help, Stephan -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Time Synchronization
Hi! Can anybody explain how Xen deals with time? On traditional, non-virtualized systems I run an ntpd on every system to keep the time accurate. But what to do on xenified systems? Do all the domU''s get the time from dom0 meaning it is sufficient to run an ntpd there or do I have it to setup in every domU? Thanks for your help! Kind regards, Stephan
