difficulty setting up Samba PDC.. please help... out of ideas
I am trying to test a Samba PDC on our network that currently shares
files as a workgroup (with a different name, of course). Microsoft
states that this can be done, with no issues (so long as the workgroup
and the domain have different names). The permanent home for the shares
is on //receptionist. ( The temporary home for the Samba PDC is on
//haze. ) Once the PDC has been set up

How to cross-compile for ARC in clang?
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to compile my test.cpp for ARC, using this guide
https://clang.llvm.org/docs/CrossCompilation.html.
I've built my LLVM+CLANG with ARC, ARM and X86.
clang -target arc -S test.cpp
Gives me:
error: unknown target triple 'arc', please use -triple or -arch
clang -targer arm works fine
Is there any way to compile for ARC?

Please help with loop, thanks
Dear R helpers,
I would like to write a loop that makes 4 objects (called A, B, C, and D)
each of which contains ten random numbers.
This attempt:
individuals<-c("A","B","C","D")
for(i in 1:length(individuals)) {
individuals[i]<-rnorm(10)
}
does not work because "individuals[i]" is not the proper way to extract each
letter from the

Access Error for Roaming Profiles Share
Hi,
I am trying to address some error messages that are hitting the log files
for two 4.9.5-Debian file servers in our all-Samba AD domain. Most
prominently

index file vs. memory
Hello,
we have a large base of mailbox users and while pop3-connections are
usually closed after the download of all mails, I noticed hundrets of
imap-connections kept idle by the users. This is surely according to the
idea behind imap, but I'm a bit afraid of overwhelming memory
consumption if there are too many imap-connections opened at the same
time. Is the index file kept in memory

I got this code while installing this game. I've been surfing trying to find out what would be the problem, but it was in vain.

Latest kde/tetex updates fail on my attempts. Is it me or ...?
...hink). Tried importing some
GPG keys that I thought were from CentOS, tried rm -rf on the cache,
tried "yum clean headers" and "yum clean packages" (suspecting
temporarily bad mirrors?), etc.
Reread *in toto* the yum guide again, googled for hours, which has
caused the observed hazing of the cornea and glazing of countenance.
The rhn config file is out-of-box stock, but I've added the extras, kb
and such to the repos directory. All this has worked in the past.
Caveat: I manually installed mplayer on the system before I learned
enough to realize it is available from the oth...

Repeat Review Request
Folks,
I like criticism! Please give me lots of it - particularly in respect of the
updated "Samba-Guide". It should now be up on the Samba mirror sites.
You can download it from:
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/Samba-Guide.pdf
I have incorporated all feedback into this book. Did I get it right this time
or should I give up?
So far, not a word of feedback is deafening!
Is it
