File already in use?
Hi, I'm running 3.0.4 and have had several reports from users both using Office and Lotus where the application tells them that the file is already in use when we know it isn't. (BTW, there's a typo on the man page under "lock spin count". "acquired", not "aquired".) Chris -- Chris Garrigues http://www.DeepEddy.Com/~cwg/ Trinsic

syslinux 2.04 and linux 2.4.21?
...with an image from linux 2.2.21 (again, on the same floppy), syslinux does _not_ print the error. Instead it boots the kernel and the initial ramdisk just fine. Both kernels are bzImages, by the way. I haven't tried other kernel images yet. Saving files with MS Word to samba3 server is very slow!
Hi! I'm currently hunting a strange problem and looking for help! I have a samba3 fileserver (currently samba-3.0.20b, but problem can be reproduced with samba-3.0.7, but _not_ with samba2 like 2.2.8a), and I see performance problems when writing files with MS word 2002 SP3 from a NT4.0 (SP6a) workstation. Saving even the smallest file takes more than 10 seconds! Copying files with Windows
