RSA Signatures using SHA2 provided by different ssh-agent are not properly verified
...itself: https://gist.github.com/Jakuje/b1f7161d89472c4b6a3e2024675b0b46 The issue can be simply reproduced by running ssh-agent from gnome- keyring (pageant or others should do the same) and connect to the server with the above patch. In the server log, we can notice the following messages (where hash_alg=1 is SSH_DIGEST_SHA1): debug1: Verifying signature with ktype=ssh-rsa and hash_alg=1 debug2: userauth_pubkey: authenticated 1 pkalg rsa-sha2-512 So even though all the current messages say that sha2 is used, something else is going on here. Nor client nor server is verifying that the signature it...

[PATCH] cleanup of global variables server/client_version_string in sshconnect.c
In sshconnect.c there are two global variables for server_version_string client_version_string. These are used just in a few functions and can easily be passed as parameters. Also, there is a strange construct, where their memory is allocated to the global pointers, then copies of these pointers are assigned to the kex structure. The kex_free finally frees them via cleanup of the kex

duplicate entries on ext3 when using readdir/readdir64
Hello, I have a problem with directories that contain more than 10000 entries (Ubuntu 8.04.1) or with more than 70000 entries (RHEL 5.2). If you use readdir(3) or readdir64(3) you get one entry twice, with same name and inode. Some analyzing showed that disabling dir_index solves this problem, but I think that this is a bug in the ext3 code, as no other file-system shows this behavior.
