Calling Fortran90 code from R
...C wrapper for the Fortran routines, and call the
wrapper from R. If needed, I can also post some code from my
experiments. I'd actually like to get something which could be
submitted to CRAN out of this (are there any other packages depending
on Fortran90 code?)
Thanks in advance for any help,

Swift - detection of multiple digits unreliable on my system
...hangup;

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I am open to the possibility of
using swift -o to generate to a WAV file, then using that file with
read(), but I would like to avoid the delays and additional complexity
associated with that technique, if possible.
Thanks!

syslinux 6.03 does not boot some kernels
Hi
I've got a bit of a problem with syslinux 6.03.
I am trying to deliver the debian stable netinstall to a vmware 5.1/5.5
(tested both) vm using syslinux.efi in 64 bit.
my pxelinux.cfg/default for everything I tried looks like this:
--8<---
prompt 1
default local
label install
LINUX http://my-server-ip/pxe/wheezy/test/$kernel
label local
menu label Boot from local

I can now confirm that this can be replicated on hardware, a
