E400P vs te410p vs te411p
Hi, I found E400P quad PRI card quite cheap (749USD): http://www.govarion.com/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=2&osCsid=68cdd6e3d08754 in comparison to te410p (approx 1500 USD ) http://www.digium.com/index.php?menu=product_detail&category=hardware&product=TE410P Now newer generation with HW echo canceling emerged (te411p). I'm not sure in what things those two cards differ and what would be best option to buy (I believe there is big performance gap between them, but don't know how big and if it's worth of money).... Also...

Hardware vs. Network Inputs
...hing the digits (simple 6 digit numbers) that people are inputting. The question: Is it unrealistic to think that an all network solution (meaning calls VOIP in to the machine and out from the machine) for this kind of load is doable? Or, would it be better to get POTS phone lines involved with a hardware solution like: http://www.digium.com/index.php?menu=product_detail&category=hardware&product=TDM400P (or a better product)? If the network approach is possible why are we having so much problems just capturing the digits people are pressing? The machine is connected directly to a T1 that...

Asterisk 1.2.1 + TDM400P + fax machine unreliable ?
Hi, I have a running asterisk 1.2.1 (bristuffed) with a TDM400 Board. Connected to 1 port is am ordanary Fax Machine. Everything 'seems' to work, however receiving faxes is very unreliable. Sometimes I receive a normal page, without problems. Sometimes half of a page and the rest is scrambled, but most often, I receive nothing and the other site reports a Fax error... The Fax machine

Newbie Question: Type of card
Hi, I am sorta a newbie to the asterisk community at least in the realm of hardware types. I was wondering, what type of card is used to allow asterisk, on a slackware installation to talk to a standard phone line so that asterisk can call out? Dan

Multiple TDM400P's in a single machine
Hi All, Can someone give me a definite answer as to wether or not you can reliably run multiple TDM400P's in the same machine? I need 4 x FXO and 4 x FXS to connect to both the PSTN and existing key system, but I have seen several threads suggesting that this is not a supported configuration Thanks, Marc. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
