[PATCH net-next 2/2] virtio-net: simplify XDP handling in small buffer
We used to do data copy through xdp_linearize_page() for the buffer without sufficient headroom, it brings extra complexity without helping for the performance. So this patch remove it and switch to use generic XDP routine to handle this case. Key information of that time is as in the **** lines. And I found in the //// lines messages log. How do you think the reason

mboot.c32, weird e820 map on HP blade machine, possible memory corruption
I'm seeing this on a HP Blade and i'm not sure why this is happning since the nature of the issue is so wierd. I compiled mboot.c with a DEBUG defined in the mboot.c file. In the funciton init_mmap(), it prints the e820 map and on the HP blade this map values come out to be totally random. Some weird numbers which dont make any sense at all. However, if i add a while(1); or a exit(1); at

[PATCH net-next 0/2] virtio-net: re enable XDP_REDIRECT for mergeable buffer
Hi: This series tries to re-enable XDP_REDIRECT for mergeable buffer which was removed since commit 7324f5399b06 ("virtio_net: disable XDP_REDIRECT in receive_mergeable() case"). Main concerns are: - not enough tailroom was reserved which breaks cpumap - complex logic like EWMA and linearizing during XDP processing Fix those by: - reserve enough tailroom during refill - disable EWMA
