The easiest way to restore timestamps of files?
...ch was downloaded from internet archive via FTP or obtained somehow, these files have bad timestamp, and now I want use rsync for their synchronization with the remote rsync server and also correct their bad timestamp - of course without re-downloading. The easiest way for Fedora 14 to Centos 6 migration?
...them to Centos 6, possibly the easiest possible way. What I'd like is some as yum configuration files replacement of those from Fedora with files from Centos - and then simply do "yum update". Has anyone tried to do a similar migration? What procedure would you recommend? TIA, Franta Hanzlik

execute permissions missing after upgrade to Samba 4
...lient self did not set x bit on executables (e.g. when I from windows client extract ZIP archive with executables, they have no x-bit set). Should Samba4 itself set 'Read-And-Execute' rights, either by settin x bit or by setting these rights in extended attributes? Thank in advance, Franta Hanzlik

smbd: Too many open files
