How to unlock old SCCP Cisco 7960 ?
...or log file) would a 7960 use when checking or updating its configuration files with FTP (I'm new to Linux and system administration).
I've already copied SIP 7.5 firmware files in /tftpboot directory and removed old SCCP firmware files.
According http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/788/voip/handset_to_sip.html, first step is to unlock Network Configuration menu with the following instruction :
Press the **# buttons in order to unlock the phone
Trouble is that nothing seems to happen when doing so.
My questions are :

how to configure my cisco 7960?!
hi everybody,
just tried to install my cisco 7960 - but without much success :-(
I want to set it up as a sip phone - but I can not setup the phone's IP
address...
after plugging it in it says "Configuring IP" - I unlocked it and
entered the "Network Configuration". I can see the edit-buttons but when
I trie to press then it says "That key is not active here"

Cisco 7970 SIP upgrade issues
Dear Asterisk People,
I am having problems putting a SIP image on a 7970. I was wondering if anyone can help?
First problem is the phone is running version
Load IDJar70.2-5-47-17.sbn
Boot Load ID7970_64054100.bin Version5.0(0.6S)
So I did read that you couldn't simply put the latest SIP image on such an old phone and a newer firmware version should be used.

Cisco 7960 SIP Firmware
Can someone point me in a direction where I can acquire the Cisco 7960
SIP firmware? I just purchased two phones of ebay, but they are both in
Call Manager mode.
