Backwards template compatibility XCP 1.1 <- XenServer6 - msg: HANDLE_INVALID: [ VM; OpaqueRef:NULL ]
Hello,
I have tried to use VM template of Solaris 10 from XenServer 6 on XCP
1.1. It doesn''t work (details are in attachment).
Is there somewhere a collection of proven [PH]VM templates for XCP 1.1
for such OSes like:
- ubuntu 11.10
- Solaris 10 / Solaris 11
- CentOS 5.7 / CentOS 6
- RHEL 6
Thank you in advance for any hints.
regards, Mark

XCP- Unable to Import Lenny.xva
...w.xen.org/files/XenCloud/Software/lenny.xva, saving to domain
zero. (note that this file was updated March 1, 2011)
When I try to import lenny.xva to my Xen Cloud Platform host using the
command:
  xe vm-import filename=lenny.xva
I get the following output:
The VM could not be imported.
msg: HANDLE_INVALID: [VM; OpaqueRef: NULL ]
Is it possible that the uploaded lenny.xva file is invalid somehow? It seems
that this question was asked on this mailing list on March 17th but has not
yet been addressed.
Thank You,
Jessica Hartog
