exclude a vector value from another vector
...p and deriven sample of it is enough large
using the following command is not helpful.
newpop<-pop[-c(2,10)]
One could simplify my question in this way: how we can exclude a sub vector
values from a super vector value (i.e sub vecor values are subset of super
vector values).
Thanks in advance.

Biggest Fake Conference in Computer Science
We are researchers from different parts of the world and conducted a study on
the world’s biggest bogus computer science conference WORLDCOMP
( http://sites.google.com/site/worlddump1 ) organized by Prof. Hamid Arabnia
from University of Georgia, USA.
We submitted a fake paper to WORLDCOMP 2011 and again (the
same paper with a modified title) to WORLDCOMP 2012. This paper
had numerous fundamental mistakes. Sample statements from
that paper include:
(1). Binary logic is fuzzy logic and vice versa

[LLVMdev] The best way to cope with AllocationInst type in old code?
...got it correctly, this istruction (AllocationInst) has been
removed from llvm instruction set. How can I recode the behavior one
can expect from the AllocationInst? Should I check for call
instructions to malloc?
I'm new to llvm and I would really appreciate any comment or suggestion.
Thanks,
Hamid

[LLVMdev] multiple function return values in LLVM
Hi all,
How can I implement a multiple function return values scheme in a
performance efficient way, just like what be done in Matlab or Octave?
Thanks in advance,
Yabin

a very bit problem!
Hi there!
I have a bit problem with syslinux,
I want to boot from a binary file, I don't want to have any OS(any
kernel), so how can I do that?
Should I make a special binary file? what should I specify in syslinux.cfg?

[Bug 1161] New: The lock problem causes the iptables return with exit code 0 without adding my rules to kernel.
...i stop; sudo service chilli start;sudo iptables -nvL ; sudo
iptables -F
if anything works fine, in each run you should see the INPUT and FORWARD chains
rules. But after some runs the chains will be clean or some rules are added and
other rules not!
I use -w and -W, but it doesn't work!
Thanks

Proposing a change in the base::sink interface for type argument
...put/message will be redirected.
I'm proposing either a change in the interface so it is a single character
(either output or message) or a loop in the implementation on all values in
type so it will actually be considered a vector. Here is an example change
for the former:
https://github.com/hhamid/r-source/commit/d3cad22e1b9beca0a55004d74fc95059c279d770#diff-498a99501a04c6d9a66ee95ad6614734L19
Just wondering what people think and if this makes sense.
Thanks a lot,
Hamid

compute_ebands
Hi All,
Is the following loop in function compute_ebands meant to work out the
nearest celt frequency bin to a bark critical band? ?If so why an
offset is required to be considered? Thanks in advance if somebody can
explain it.
Thanks,
Hamid
/* Spacing follows critical bands */
for (i=0;i<high;i++)
{
int target = bark_freq[lin+i];
eBands[i+low] = (2*target+offset+res)/(2*res);
offset = eBands[i+low]*res - target;
}

allocMatrix error
...the same message.
Could you find a remedy for that. My server has 128 GB of RAM. However, R
halted ever before it uses the memory.
I have been able to load upto 250 CEL files but this time I wanted to test
what would happen if I want to normalize 400 chips.
Thanks for your prompt response.

And yes, match.arg() is widely used in R. I find it quite useful in my own
