this is or what it is calculated from?
If anyone has any advice re plotting H&L logistic regression diagnostics in R
that would be greatly appreciated.
Also, can any of these functions be applied to glmmPQL mixed models?
Thanks very much

rsync and chmoding permissions on Windows
...s the +X doing?
Google can't search for 'chmod=' so I'm stumped.
The permissions I'm getting set is that the directory I've copied has
Administrator ACLs set to 'special permissions' and not full control!
Can some kind person put me out of my misery.

RSync from NAS machine over WinXP with cwRSync to another PC
Hello,
some people want to use the following construction:
they have a NAS machine with an integrated rsync (may be on embedded linux).
they have a WinXP with cwRsyncServer (with rsync 3.0.2)
and they have on WinXP a network share (i.e. Y:
== "//192.168.100.123/sharename")
They can use NAS / WinXP with cwRsync to copy files from NAS to a local path
on the WinXP machine.
But how

rsync Windows UNC
Hello,
I try to backup files from a NAS to our backup-server using rsync.
The NAS itself is not able to run rsync.
Therefore I installed rsyncd (cwrsync 2.1.1) on a windowsserver which
has access to the NAS.
I configured the rsyncd like this:
[nspPR53_so2]
path = /172.21.87.9/nspPR53_so/material/doc
read only = true
transfer logging = yes
When connecting with the client I get the error

wildcard error in source path?
...er, if I delete a file in 'dump' and do the command again then this file in 'remote' is NOT deleted.
But this works:
rsync --delete -va dump/ remote::home
ie, the file on the server is deleted.
Is this a bug or are we not to use wildcards at the end of a source path?

Can Rsync do this?
...le time-wise.
So I guess I need a way for Rsync to compare the two directories and if one file is more recent than the other then force the older file to be overwritten by the most recent regardless of which location it is in.
Can Rsync do this?
If not, can it be made to do this? ;-)

Beginner needs a guide
...rything in source. I even tried having an empty
include_list file and it still copied everything across!
Can someone tell me the logic behind this and how to get it to work?
I couldn't find any examples of how to do this online.
Sorry for being such a 'Windows' wimp. ;-)

I assume NetBIOS is not running properly. How can I check? smb.conf

Can rsync monitor a file system?
I am trying to get two servers to copy each others data to the other
server.
I need it to be done real time a not use a cron.
Can rsync running as a daemon monitor the files system to trigger a
transmission?
If so how do I configure it?
I am running Solaris 9.
Thank you.
