1.2.4 disk full errors
...ne know what's happening with Dovecot here and how to recover
so that this user can see mail again?
Unforuntately we're on a very old version, 1.2.4. Though there is a
plan for migrating to a newer platform, I need to get this user
accessing email again rather more urgently.

HELP: Connections dropping whilst processes increasing.
...pt the error messages below in log.smb, and the fact that the number of smbd
processes increases to unfeasible levels (I have seen as many as 5000). Does anyone have any
idea as to what may be causing this, or any idea as to how to diagnose the problem.

non root user access to smbmount shares

Here's the problem we are having, We are mounting a share from a
WinNT 4.0 SP3 box to our redhat 5.0 2.0.32 box using the following
command:
smbmount //zues/raid1 /ISO/raid1 -I pooh.shellserv.com -u 507 -g 250 -
c winterhawk -U sambausr
The mount works fine but here is the permissions that I end up with

Word document corruption when connection lost

Directory listing hangs if links can not be followed.
...ect that cannot be accessed then directory operations seem to
be affected. Is there anyway to make samba ignore links if it can't resolve them?

Anyone got any ideas? The only configuration change we have introduced in
the last few weeks is creating local user accounts and turning off NIS on
those boxes. SELinux is set to Permissive.

Odd Roaming Profile behaviour from a Samba PDC
