macro-stdexten question
...c... My question is: Who called macro-stdexten ? I grep'ed for it in /etc/ asterisk/* and could only find the definition of the macro in extensions.conf. I'm curious to know if this macro is something hard coded in asterisk for dialing extensions with voicemail enabled. Any ideas? Haim.

Re: Traffic not redirected to IFB - problem solved
...te package is version 2.6.18, which apparently do not support IFB properly. The end result is that while no error is given, counters on ifb0 do not update, and capturing on the interface turns out nothing. Simply replacing tc with one from 2.6.26 solves this issue, it seems... Login script doesn't run
Hi, The login script has worked for our win98 computers since the dawn of time (or there abouts). Then something happened or I did something and the login script doesn't run anymore. I can run it manually. This was version 2.2.3a. I started smbd with -d10 and didn't see any call for a script. Is the login script mentioned in a working system? In an effort to fix this, I deleted and

Exporting samba mount via NFS
Perhaps I'm trying to do something that is not allowed, but I have found no such restriction in the documentation. To limit the contact of my Linux boxes with the "products of Bill & Co.", I have mounted a Windows share on my Linux server. When I try to export that same share from the Linux server (as a plain old NFS volume), it mounts without error, but the mountpoint

Login script doesn't run - Solved
I hate being stupid. Here is the answer: This won't work: [global] logon script = %U.bat # Win9x needs this This will work: [global] # Win9x needs this logon script = %U.bat The comment has to be on it's own line. Thanks to all for trying to help. Bob Crandell (bob@assuredcomp.com) wrote*: > >Hi, >The login script has worked for our win98 computers

'Access denied' when moving files
Hello. I've got a Windows 2000 Pro Sp2 client using Samba 2.2.4-2 on Red Hat Linux 7.3. I've ran chmod 777 * +R on the directory that samba shares; sharing is set as 'share' security. Lots of times, when I move video files from my local hard drive on the Windows 2000 machine to the samba share (mapped to a drive letter, not a UNC), I get an "Access denied, the source file may
