smbclient is broken and W2k can't connect to Samba3.0-rc2

Got strange message when using wbinfo/winbind on Samba-3 beta3

I am running on Solaris 9.

Something is broken in Samba3.0-rc2 compared to Samba3.0-rc1
...ave attached the trace from smbclient.
Everything worked fine with rc1.
