Grandstream GXV-3000
I am trying to set up a Grandstream GXV-3000 Video
phone to Asterisk ver 1.2.21.1. The problem I'm
having is that it can call other SIP phones, but not
vice versa. Can someone tell me where is the problem?
TIA!

Dear,
I'm having problems with the configuration of this gateway(GrandStream GXW

has a good configuration for this gateway?
Thanks in advance,

I am using a Grandstream gxv 3000 trying to connect to a linksys WVC210
camera that does rtsp.
I can use mplayer to view the rtsp at http://192.168.1.175/img/video.sav .
I installed app_rtsp.c in asterisk 1.4.23.2
I was hoping to view the camera on the video phone.
Is there something I am missing?
Thanks,

N900 video with Asterisk?
Anyone using an N900 with asterisk yet?
Had mine for a while now and VoIP (voice) has been working really well,
but the new firmware update brings SIP Video calling too - so just given
it a go... The fly in the ointment is that I only have a Grandstream
GXV3000 to test it with ...
And it worked - sort of. If I call the N900 from the Grandstream it's OK
(H263 and H264 seems supported), and I get video both ways, but if I call
the GXV3000 from the N900, then I don't get any video - sound is OK. Even
after pushing the 'video' and came...

Video through IAX2 trunks
...ck window and if I remember correctly, I was getting white noise
in one direction (not sure if the noise thing is asterisk's fault or the
phone's).
I do see the video packets going through when I enable debugging on iax2,
so this is strange.
I tested with linphone, pjsua, and a Grandstream gxv3240.
Video calls that don't go through the iax2 trunk work fine (eg: both phones
in the same server).
If I change the trunk to use pjsip, video works fine, but then I have other
problems that am still working on.
I'd rather keep using iax2 for my trunks for a while, so my question is:

Is anyone using * for 2 way video conferencing?
Hi,
One of my clients, wants to use * box to run weekly meetings between remote
locations over the internet.
What would be the best configuration for this? We are talking about two
conference rooms.
I am referring to the actual hardware/software and bandwidth requirements
for this to work well.
I have run two software video phones and I had marginal results with it when

Provisioning GXP 2000
I've done some googling and searched voip-info but I'm not able to find a
good answer about how to provision the GXP 2000.
Based on questions I've asked before it seems like a lot of people are using
the grandstream phones so I figure provisioning can't be that hard. Is
everyone using the web interface for *every* phone? Or is there a better,
more automatic, way?
TIA!!!
Thanks,

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
