in this thread, I'll not be converting to a Windows based DC any time soon.
Another important thing we do is backup up everything, offsite, daily -- and
important suff every 20 minutes.
Thanks for your feedback and I will definitely check out the Guttman book.

anyone can find a better spot to do the service registration, please hack
away, or let me know.
Other known problems:
* shouldn't hardwire the portnum, instead should read from rsync_port.
* needs to have a standard set of attributes defined. I'll chase this up with
Erik Guttman.
* Needs to do smarter things if hostname or domainname are broken.
* Probably needs to do smarter things for multi-homed hosts.
If anyone was in doubt after all that: DON"T APPLY THIS TO A PRODUCTION BOX.

Smallest Space Analysis help
Hello fellow R users, I need to perform Guttman's Smallest Space Analysis,
which is a type of Non-metric Multidimensional Scaling. Not wanting to
reinvent the wheel i decided to look for a package which may have an
