WINE 1.0RC5 Deb file for At least Gutsy i386
I created a deb file of WINE and it installs and works great for GutsyGibbon on my machine - I don't know about Feisty tho.
1.)In synaptic or apt-get do remove complete of the ol' wine version or else you might see when u open up the wine config in the about screen the ol' version.
2.)WARNING: after compiling it said something about not supporting scanners, etc...

Ty. Here is the Readme I included in the zip file: Remember My specialty now is for i386 and for the Ubuntu GutsyGibbon 7.10 of the Ubuntu Operating System so I don't offer a guarantee of it working on any other distro smoothly. again Ty and I do hope it works for you.
