Using a function with apply Error: undefined columns selected
I am trying to write a function that can be used to apply to process all the columns of a data.frame. If you will run the code below, you will get the error message undefined columns selected. I hope someone will be able to teach me what I am doing wrong.
Thank you,
John

ANNOUNCE: Release of GnuCash stable version 1.8.12
...release is still
based on gtk1.2/gnome1. The developers are working on a gtk2/gnome2
version of GnuCash, but it still takes a lot of time.
See http://gnomesupport.org/wiki/index.php/GnuCashPortingStatus for the
status of the Gtk2 port. GnuCash makes use of several custom widgets as
well as the Guppi graphing library. To port to gtk2 involves rewriting
those widgets (e.g. the ledger, or the account hierarchy which uses
GtkCTree) into the appropriate GTK2 widgets and changing the graphing
code to use Jody's new gnome-office-graph code of Gnumeric (Guppi was
never ported to gtk2 and is a...

GNU GOOSe apparently needs help (fwd)
...ge of C++'s
features to improve the clarity of statistical code and that is easier to
use for programmers.
To produce a complete set of Guile bindings, exporting all of the C++
library's functionality to that environment.
A third, ancillary goal is to provide statistical functionality for Guppi,
the Gnome plotting and data-visualization program. The desire for
non-trivial statistics in Guppi was actually the motivation for creating
Goose."
I think there may be some synergy here with R or Octave and people on the
Allstat list might also be interested.

BSOD w/ gplpv drivers and Windows 2008 R2 64-bit
Hey,
I''ve been trying to get the gplpv drivers working with Windows 2008 R2
64-bit on both a stock CentOS 5.8 install and CentOS 5.8 w/ Xen 4.1.2
from the gitco repos.
I''m getting a BSOD shortly after boot up and it can be seen at
http://techmonkeys.org/xen/ -- along with the qemu log.
Has anyone had success with these drivers and Windows 2008 R2 64-bit? If
so, what am I
