What is the best way to have "R" output tables in an MS Word format?

I am a novice to "R" but I do work with a couple of very knowledgeable statisticians who do most of the heavy statistical lifting for our research group. match rows of data frame
Hi R-experts, I have a data frame (A) , and a subset (B) of this data frame. I am trying to create a new data frame which gives me all the rows of B, plus the 5th next row(occuring in A). I have used the below code, but it gives me all 5 rows after the matching row. I only want the 5th. FiveDaysLater <- A[c(sapply(match(rownames(B),rownames(A)), seq, length=6))),] Any guidance much

I have upgraded on my debian server from samba 2.2.3 (stable ) to samba 3.0rc4 (unstable). The only problem that I have on my PDC is that italian character as ? (a') ? (u') etc. are non treated as they should and this can cause profiles non to load correctly. What should I do? THX Davide Parise E-Mail: d.parise@iskranet.it Cel.: +39 3333063640 FAX: +39 06233241981

NT, 2k and XP work just fine and I am quite sure, that it is a problem with this samba version, since the smb.conf was only slightly modified from the working 2.0.6 / 2.2.2 PDC, nevertheless it's attached - please excuse the few germ-comments. Group policies and Vista
Hi, coming back to my old topic: How to manage clients. Up to Windows XP one could use the NT4-style policies, but Vista does not seem to obey them. Are there any plans to get group policy functions on a samba-only domain? Or are there other ways to manage the clients? best regards, Gunther

Plotting three time series on the same graph
Dear R Users, I would like to plot three time series on the same graph, two axis on the left and one axis on the right. The time series that I am graphing on the left do not share a similar scale: one has a range of 1:100 and the other a range of 25000:70000. How can I display the tick marks for both on the left hand side without superimposing them, i.e. one set of tick marks in black right

I'm in touch with Gunther (one of the maintainers) to try > I'm curious if you left the "--with-experimental-mit-ad-dc" features > enabled, because I turned those off as "not yet ready for prime time". With stock 4.2.3 I get the error "TSIG error with server: tsig verify failure" but the DNS updates succeed anyway, and after applying Gunther Kukkukk's patch from https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-technical/2013-February/090408.html the error is gone.
