hi.... i have virtual users stored in ldap server and i must to do some modifications that requiere to chage mail_location value... the solution comes to use the "uid" value stored in ldap server for users on mail_location parameter... i can see in http://wiki.dovecot.org/Variables that i can't do them (i uses sasl authentication) so.. ?exist any way to get a value from ldap server

I have a power edge with raid5 that contains Centos 5.4. I had a drive failure, anyway the array is optimal now but the server won't boot. I can boot from a Centos 5.3 liveCD and all the data is still there. There is no grub.conf just shows a broken link. ...at rsync copied the whole / filesystem but was that really? What do you think about backuping running / filesystems with rsync? Could it be an appropriate tool in that context or not? I want to make a copy which in case of the first disks' failure could be used quite fast (for example only with gub-install to repair MBR). Any help will e very kindly appreciated.
