GSoC 2018
Hi Guys!
I have a suggestion about the projects in idea section. Projects
<http://llvm.org/OpenProjects.html#gsoc18> are listed as GSoC 2018 followed
by GSoC 2017, I hope that some projects in the GSoC 2017 section are
already taken by previous year gsoc students, could you please remove those
projects from the list and include the remaining projects in GSoC 2018.
Because one cannot make assumptions about t...

I just removed GSoC 2017 from the Table of Content.
I guess it is what Praveen meant.

We really need more community involvement with GSoC
Anton let me know that while we're seeing some pretty good GSoC proposals
(or at least quite good starting points), we're still really short on
mentors.
Please, everyone, consider if you have the expertise and could find the
bandwidth to mentor a GSoC student. If so, contact Anton and he'll set you
up.
Second, if you cannot be a GSoC mentor, please he...

[LLVMdev] [GSoC] Flang's end of GSoC report
Hi everyone!
Today is the official "pencils down" day for GSoC and I wrote a report
describing what results I've achieved since my last report in July:
http://flang-gsoc.blogspot.ie/2013/09/end-of-gsoc-report.html
Thanks for this GSoC LLVM!

Exactly :)
But also some projects that was listed in GSoC 2017 was not undertaken by
any students last year. Will those projects can be included in GSoC 2018 ?
Many Organizations are including the projects which are not undertaken
previously in their GSoC 2018 projects list.
Thanks

[GSoC] Improve function attribute inference
Hi Johannes.
My name is Hideto Ueno. I’m interested in working on GSoC project, “Improve
(function) attribute inference”.
As far as I see [0] and related patches, you have already implemented
algorithms for many of the deducible function attributes with the new
framework “Attributor”. I doubt whether there is still room for improvement
as a GSoC project.
If there is...

Project Proposal in GSoC 2019
Hi All,
I am interested in applying for the two projects listed in the Xapian Gsoc
2019 project idealist: "Learning to Rank Stabilisation" and "Weighting
Schemes". I have downloaded the codebase and going through some of the
commits related to Letor API, BM25, and DFR weighting schemes. Can anyone
tell me how to write about the formal proposal for the above-me...

Prospective GSoC projects - 2019
.... I have
intermediate knowledge of modern c++, boost libraries (proto, hana) and
basic knowledge of compilers and optimizations. I have gone through the
LLVM Kaleidoscope tutorial to get to know about LLVM code-gen API and
JIT environment. I know still there is a lot of things to watch up.
For GSoC 19, I looked at Open Projects page, where I can find only GSoC
2018 projects and some projects whose current status is not mentioned.
Given the vastness of the LLVM project, it is difficult for me to find
some prospective projects that can be completed this summer. Especially
I'm interested...
