Question on "read only" behavior in smb.conf
...s the group
ownership of /tmp/foo, then sue has write access IF /tmp/foo is group
writeable.
Thanks in advance. Samba set up quickly and seems to work great, except for
this
little bit of strangeness.

OpenSSH and Solaris 9/Native LDAP
...uot; enabled. According to the openssh docs, it says that
it will work with the "other" accounts listed in the /etc/pam.conf. We have
tried a lot of different entries in the /etc/pam.conf. Does anyone have any
ideas on how to get this to work?

evidence/timelines that show linux is "more secure"
I''m looking for some evidence, backup up with dates and references,
that shows that the Linux community responds to security problems
more quickly than other OS vendors, and thus might be considered
"more secure". A number of fairly high profile corporations are
starting to look for such information as they consider Linux as an
alternative solution to other UNIXes.

...ile "types.h" that it receives all the errors from. I am assuming
its a version-compatibility mis-match. We are running Mipspro C compiler
version 7.3 on an IRIX 6.5.3 machine. Do we need to upgrade/downgrade or
does the problem lie somewhere else?
