Dear centos community, I was in the process of loading the latest 5.5 release of centos in a VMWARE ESX 4.1 host as my first virtual machine, suddenly while booting I got a panic error with the following on screen. I am trying to plug a USB 2 device in a USB 3 slot. Nothing is being detected in "lsusb". Is there something special I need to do? I am running centos 5.5 x86_64. I thought 3.0 was backward compatible. Nothing special about my device its an RS232 to USB device. It works in 2.0 slot. Thanks, Jerry

We have several LINUX servers with Backup Exec 12.5 client on it. Based on Backup administrator told us when configure backup EXEC client he need "root" password. Also we can NOT change "root" password after configure otherwise backup will failed. Does there has way I can create a account with special group assign to it for Backup EXEC to use? Thanks.

I'm installing dovecot and migrating from mbox to maildir. I've read several articles concerning this process but I can't seem to find the answer to one particular question. What is the default name of the inbox when using maildir format?
