no display what can I try.
...I see a blank screen. Any recommendations on how to fix it? More to it. It is a newer nvidia card, That I need to drive a 4K monitor at 60Hz . If I replace it with an old nvidia card I can see it fine but it doesn't get me 4K at 60Hz. In grub I tried setting the resolution to 1024x768 using GRUB_GFXMODE=1024x768 and ran "upgrade-grub" But I still ended with a blank screen. I really want pxelinux more than grub in hopes that some way I could boot clonezilla via pxe boot. Which I have working for the rest of my machines. I have a second video card that has the same symptoms in that ma...

Further to my messages back in May I have at last got round to trying to get my DomU to recognise USB devices. I am using Xen 4.6 with CentOS kernel 3.18.34-20.el7.x86_64. I have to manually make the port available before creating the DomU by issuing the command: xl pci-assignable-add 00:1a.0 otherwise nothing shows in: xl pci-assignable-list I have added this to my .cfg file as per the

xen4 , framebuffer and grub2
...ization error! Could not initialize SDL - exiting It seems that xen can not find the framebuffer device. I have searched the web about how to enable framebuffer in grub2,someone said : add these two lines into /etc/default/grub and run update-grub2 .(https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GRUB2 ) GRUB_GFXMODE="1024x768x32" GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX="keep" I have done it and reboot my server, but the problem remains. My question is : How to enable framebuffer in grub2? Thank you! 2011-05-23 sosogh _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-u...

[Bug 55412] New: Screen turns black during boot after driver tries to set mode on NV50
...<bskeggs at redhat.com> An interesting thing about this bug is that it can be avoided with adding the kernel flag nouveau.reg_debug=0x600. With this flag a wrong resolution is set at boot and the screen does not turn black. The X Server cannot start anyway. My native resolution is 1366x768. GRUB_GFXMODE is 1360x768x32, since the greater resolution is not listed in grub's vbeinfo. nouveau and blob run X with 1366x768. I will attach a log with and without the flag at commit 97d6852410a83e413d85649cb2cc10e17d6ee2ab. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ---...
