CentOS 7, not systemd questions
Question 1: has anyone used preupgrade (I used it with fc 17 -> 19, and it
pretty much appeared to work, but that was on a couple of worksttions)?
Opinions?
Question 2: is grub still supported, or is there something that *FORCES*
you to use grub2?

CentOS 7 kernel console under KVM?
Is there a way to get GRUB2 and the kernel to run a "serial" console
under KVM?
I'm running a Fedora 20 desktop, with libvirt-managed VMs. When I run a
CentOS 6 VM, I can set both the boot loader and kernel up to use ttyS0
and get a console compatible with "virsh console".
When I try the same with a CentOS 7 VM, it doesn't work. If I set it to

CentOS7 - Serial Console and Flow Control
...option (for hardware flow control).
Despite modifying the baud rate to reflect the BMC's settings, I only get
symbols (so the console settings are amiss).
Would anyone be so kind as to share their experience?
What has worked for your BMC/SoL configurations?
