Dear R experts, I have defined a class "myclass" and would like the slots to be extractable not only by "@" but also by "$". I now try to write a method for "$" that simply executes the request object at slotname, whenever someone calls object$slotname for any object of class "myclass". Importing function that is previously imported by other package

Cannot activate chm help in R 2.10
Dear all, I just tried to be fast for once, installed R 2.10 and also newly installed all previously-installed packages. However, now all my help files are text only, which is of course a pity with the new possibilities of links between help pages. What can I do to re-activate chm-help? chm-help does not work for anything, not even base functionality. My system is Windows XP, German locale

Bug in str or issue with class management in my package?
Dear developeRs, with R 2.4.1 (and also 2.4.0), the function str() fails on objects of class relimplmbooteval, if there are unused slots, which is very often the case. Problem with correct usage of formula environment
Dear all, I am working on a function formula.design that should automatically generate reasonable lm formulae for a number of different designs.
