ZFS versus VxFS as file system inside Netbackup 6.0 DSSU
Hello experts,
We have a large implementation of Symantec Netbackup 6.0 with disk staging. Today, the customer is using VxFS as file system inside Netbackup 6.0 DSSU (disk staging).
The customer would like to know if it is best to use ZFS or VxFS as file system inside Netbackup disk staging in order to get the best performance possible.

surprising behaviour of "bgroup": sets all in greek letters
...or am I missing something?
How could I possibly accomplish my original task?
The idea is to have something like
0 if x<0
F(x) = {
y otherwise
in the end.
Thanks in advance!
(and for the great tool anyway!)
(I am not currently subscribed to the r-help list,
so I would be gratful if anybody could answer me directly too, thanks!)

oh323.conf question
...reover, I think the keyword alias is related to the phone calling more
than to the ip address, and it could be anything...
In other terms, what I have to do is to send all the calls from one IP
Address to a zap group,
and all the calls coming from another IP to another zap group.
Any help will be gratly appreciated,
Andrea

Package/command for creating a table of panel models ?
.../ ) just as *mtable()* does for models estimated with /*lm()*/?
It seems *mtable* (and *apsrtable* equally) only support /*lm*/ and some
other classes but unfortunately not /*plm*/. I am pretty sure others must
have encountered this problem and I am hoping they found a way around it.
If so: I am gratful for any advice/help or even just a hint.

How to read several text files at once!
...file like C_sum.
I already tried to write a short script to do all together but it did not
work. I only was able to do for each C file separately. The main problem
is that I do not know how to read several text files and how to use those
files to make C files and afterwards C-sum files. I would be gratful if somebody can help me to write a short script to do all together.
Thank you very much in advance for your cooperation,

merging to data.frames whose columns are different but follow a pattern.
...cannot use
/merge() /. Doing the task "by hand" in a excel spread sheet or any
equivalent is possible but would probably take ages.
So my question is:
Does anyone know a way, a command, a trick to merge two files whose columns
are different but follow a pattern as described above?
I am gratful for any kind of input.
