Hi everybody Recently I've been having problems with wine making some applications not showing up in the taskbar. If I try to run notepad it shows up as normal as it should, but one of the programs I have trouble with is GrabIt http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=1588 I'm using the latest version of gentoo with Gnome 2.12.1 and Wine 0.9.1 This problem was also in Wine 0.9 and the last alpha. I haven't been using Grabit before that so I don't know if it worked back then. Any help would be good....

...or "Media Player Classic" by gabest to further enhance the whole directshow and multimedia framework it uses? Best try klmcodec pack, it has all the dlls in it aswell as MPC and does not yet work. ...39;could not connect' error. It's supposed to time out after 10 seconds, and the normal behavior running under XP is to be very quick to respond. I've tried bouncing it through a proxy, reinstalling, everything I could think of. I tried a different Windows usenet binaries downloader, Grabit, and it connected fine when running under wine. Is there some reason the network connection is being strange in alt.Binz? The actual transfer rate is fairly normal, but it's really sluggish, at best. Anybody wanna venture a guess as to what's going on and how to remedy it? Thanks a t...
