diag()<- in Matrix?
...m the line below: diag(mig.mat[1:(np-side),(side+1):np])<-mig/4 the diag part is ok, but it seems that I cannot assign values to this vector. I would be very glad for any help on this, or on pointers on how to construct Matrices. As I am not on the list, please could you answer to jerome.goudet at unil.ch? Many thanks in advance. ...) > + } > > This gives me: > > Error in model.frame.default(data = vcdf, formula = peg.no ~ 1 + (1 + : > variable lengths differ (found for 'c') I had posted a similar message on the R mixed model list a few days ago, with respect to my fundamental methods, and Jerome Goudet had kindly referred me to an alternative approach using residuals obtained from a random effects model in lmer(), and then doing regressions using those [residuals being the dependent variable and my marker data columns the independent variable]. The code for that is as follows: vc<-read....

NFS client kernel panic
Hi everyone, I have an issue with NFS client when the NFS client loose connection with the NFS server. In certain conditions the NFS client freeze and the result is kernel panic. It seems that kernel panic occurs when the NFS client try to unmount the unreachable remote NFS partition. This case occurs about one time each two days.
