Possible to edit/apply nwfilter at runtime?
...ch/apply nwfilter
rules at runtime? I.e., after a VM is already running, can I apply a
nwfilter to the VM and have it work without rebooting the machine? Thus
far, I've not come across a way to do so, but I thought I'd ask here
before I chase my tail around Google.
Thanks!

Possible to resize a Windows guest's disk while online?
...r am I just barking up the wrong tree? I'm
not finding a way to do this and even Amazon has a weird workaround, in
which the user must write data to the newly resized-drive in order to
recognize the new size without taking the disk or the VM offline.
[Obligatory] YAY Microsoft.

Conferencing..
I figured that asterisk can do conferencing if we have zap interface. The
BRI cards I have they do not have Zaptel. How do I enable conferencing on my

Using alias under disk in XML

seems that libvirt is completely ignoring or removing my changes,
without reason.
Can anyone give any insight on why this might be happening, and/or help
me with the proper way of defining the alias?

Very high translation costs for g729
...at this may have been the cause of some audio issues
between these two servers as the phones on either end use alaw, so
Asterisk is transcoding to g729 across the IAX2 link.

Networking with qemu/kvm+libvirt
...e
host, but to no avail (iptables does not see any traffic from the
guest's NIC on the host).
Is this the way it's supposed to work? And if so, is there any way I
can do IP/port redirection silently on the _host_?
Thanks in advance for any insight that anyone can share :)

though, I'm hoping someone has made the attempt other than myself and

I get the feeling that this is something I'd need to roll my own kernel
for, or perhaps just the module? If anyone could point me in the right
direction, that'd be awesome. My apologies for the noise if this is the
wrong list for this type of question.

I've tried with both /dev/sda1 and /dev/vda1 but no luck. Interestingly enough, a CentOS 7.2 image with XFS and the same setup (i.e., a single partition formatted with XFS) mounts without issue. Any ideas?

Re: [libvirt-users] Cannot guestmount a Fedora 24 XFS disk.
The host is running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and has the libguestfs package installed -- which, if I'm not mistaken, provides libguestfs-xfs:
