Yeh, my Googlefu is better than somebody who works for Google ;-)
It seems to be something to do with ZFS on illumos:

it writing to a table. But I'm struggling to figure out what that

tried [2] in sorcery.conf, But I'm not seeing any output or seeing anything

Needing a better solution to a lookup problem.
...~1500 files to go through
I haven't found a good way to efficiently solve this problem. I've tried various versions of mapply/lapply, for loops, etc which get the answer for small sets but takes hours (per file) on my real data. Bioconductor seemed like the obvious place to look, but my GoogleFu must not be that great. I never found anything relevant.
Any ideas or points to the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

CentOS CVE "database"?
...pletely destroyed what was once a valuable information-filled website.
Either way... the question now becomes...
Is there something similar to RedHat's CVE listings by year and number hosted by anyone in the CentOS community or by CentOS itself for CentOS? I haven't had much luck with my GoogleFu tonight.
Thanks,
Nate

SIP Presence across two servers
..." fairly transparently.
We have a lot of cross-office collaboration, and our office manager/receptionist (who has the battleship of a 7961G+7914+7914 BLF) would love to "at a glance" know if the remote folks are available for a call or not.
I'm sure this has been covered, but my Googlefu us turning up a ton of redundant, old, and deprecated information so I've resorted to asking here.
>From what I have found it sounds like it may be "easier" with IAX2 but my experiments with IAX2 haven't yielded wonderful results and management prefers "SIP everywhere"...

Quota not working with dict proxy
Hello all,
I'm sure this has been covered somewhere before, but my googlefu is not up
to the challenge.
Basically, I'm trying to configure quota plugin to use a dictionary
service (specifically proxy with mysql) so that I can store the quota
usage in a database and use that information in a lookup for postfix to
reject mail if over quota. I'm doing this because p...

Does Samba support XAT_OFFLINE and XAT_ONLINE extended attribute?

Thanks

How to remap c_drive
...a limitation of the software, if this is so I'll go to option B, if you wondering why I've outlined it as such remember this is a class project (only 3 of us this semester) so if I can get it done how it was requested I'd prefer doing that way, but if not I'll go w/ Plan B. Using my Googlefu it looks like it's a limitation possibly.

Time series questions
...sight you can share with why this is happening, whether putting the
NA's in was a good idea at all (intuitively it seems like a good idea,
because otherwise, I'd be all out of sync with anything after 2010q4), and
good instructional reading on how to handle data like this in time series
(my googlefu seems out of whack), would be extremely welcome.
I do not understand what to do with the NA's. Remove them? will my time
series functions work with the missing 2010q4? Not add them in at all?
Thanks in advance.

Samba AD DNS problem
Hello there.
I have a setup with Samba AD and a Named backend.
Everything has been working fine, until a few days ago, I cannot start the DNS snap-in from windows. I get a dialog box saying
"Access was denied. Would you like to add it anyway?"
If I enable level 3 debugging in the samba.conf, I get the following:
[2017/05/11 07:25:30.413481, 3]
