pre-merge checks are switching to buildkite build system
Hello friends,
We are switching the pre-merge test build system from Jenkins to Buildkite.
That will give authors and reviewers more transparency on what's going on
during the build process. For now only members of "pre-merge beta testing"
[0] group are affected.
As usual, please tell us if something is off.

tcpdump -z
...(generate some traffic on port 55555)
root@blaa ~/temp/tcpdump-4.1.1$ id
uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root)
$ cat test.sh:
#!/bin/bash
/bin/bash
Is this known and accepted? Could this option maybe be implemented
differently?
Regards,
tazo

swap at beginning of slice - danger?
...iously, on a 4.11 system, swapinfo said that swap size was less than
size of b: partition on a slice - it was ok, as boot sectors are
located at beginning of slice. But now, sizes match exactly. What
changed and is it dangerous nowadays to have swap partition at offset 0 ?

Bountysource campaign for the M68000 backend
Hello!
Almost two years ago, Artyom Goncharov submitted an initial effort for a
backend for the Motorola 68000 architecture [1] which was eventually
not merged, unfortunately. I elaborated why I supported the idea of
such a backend [2].
Recently, we started a fundraising campaign on the platform Bountysource.com
to port the M68K backend in GC...

ipfw "bug" - recv any = not recv any
I hesitate to call this a "bug" as I don't know all the history behind
the ipfw2 decisions, so let me toss this out there and see I'm just
missing something.
Overview
========
The negated operator, "not recv any" was taken to mean "any packet never
received by an interface" believed to be equivalent to "any packet that
originated on the current

winbind with NSS backend incorrect convert UIDs to SIDs
Hi
I have PDC on samba 3.0.10 with LDAP (OpenDirectory on MacOSX). I need configure fileserver(both NFS and SMB) in domain(samba 3.0.25a on Solaris)
Server get NSS information from LDAP(OpenDirectory) and winbind get UIDs from NSS: idmap backend = nss
Users authentication works fine. Users can use shares. I can view ACLs, but can't set it.

Fwd: Goto(${PREV_CONTEXT},s,1) functionality?
I have a moderately complicated ivr menu, implemented in an AEL dialplan. A
feature I'm struggling to add now is going back from current context to a
previous one, so that user could browse almost the whole ivr menu manually.
The difficulty is that when current context has several "entry points" i.e.
there are several contexts that can lead to current, it is impossible to
implement a
