java-1.6.0-openjdk packages for testing
Johnny, Thought I'd try these out for you. [LLVMdev] Two suggestions for improving LLVM error reporting
...version of dump() in llvm::Type takes a module parameter, which allows the type to be printed out using the type names registered in that module. However, the various asserts which call dump() or str() don't have a module pointer handy, which causes the type to be printed out as unrecognizable gobbledygook. If there was some way that we could associate either a default module with the LLVMContext - or perhaps register type names with the LLVMContext directly - and have dump() with no arguments use these name mappings - it would make the output more readable. (I kind of like the idea of having a type...

problem with TextCtrl#get_insertion_point
...because (on Mac, tho not GTK), get_insertion_point calls get_selection internally and simply returns the first value. I think the return value is being converted from a long to a ruby int twice, because when get_selection is wrapped, it works fine but the value for get_insertion_point becomes a gobbledygook integer. Is there a bit of SWIG magic to stop the values being unwrapped twice for this function? thanks aelx

RFC: COMBOOT API directory calls
Currently, I'm looking at implementing 3 COMBOOT API calls for directories, opendir, readdir, and closedir. In order to track progress within the directory, I'll need to keep track of the current sector number that is being read and the offset within the sector for the next file entry to read. I'm contemplating if I should also keep track of the starting sector of the directory (in

Anyone got a dialplan for SPA ATAs for ISN?
...r a while has turned up evidence that this can be corrected by a carefully-crafted "dialplan" for the Sipuras, at least, but the avaialable documentation is, let's say, a little convoluted. I'm wondering if anyone on the list has cracked this, and would be willing to share the gobbledygook string needed to effect the proper behavior. Thanks. Image viewer refuses to print TIF graphics
...) has responded to a print command on certain TIFs with nothing. Nothing shows up in the spool queue for the printer, and, although the printer (a Brother 2140 laser printer) heats up, it doesn't print anything at all. Now, this is better than it printing hundreds of pages with indecipherable gobbledygook on them, but I'd really prefer the image itself. Any ideas on what it might be? My "standard" solution is to use either tiff2pdf or Adobe Photoshop Elements (in my virtual WIndows box) to convert them to PDFs, which then print just fine, but that's a real annoyance - tiff2pdf ro...

Rsync 3.0.4pre1 released
Rsync version 3.0.4pre1 is now available for release testing. This is a bug-fix release with the only enhancement being the adding of a way to interact with an overly-restrictive server that refuses rsync's behind-the-scenes use of the -e option. Please test this new release and send email to the rsync mailing list with any questions, comments, or bug reports. To see a full summary of the

changing definition of paravirt_ops.iret
I'm implementing a more efficient version of the Xen iret paravirt_op, so that it can use the real iret instruction where possible. I really need to get access to per-cpu variables, so I can set the event mask state in the vcpu_info structure, but unfortunately at the point where INTERRUPT_RETURN is used in entry.S, the usermode %fs has already been restored. How would you feel if we changed
