...n any wine version as far as I can remember, but it simply disappear in wine 1.0 rc1 package (using ubuntu hardy repository since Debian one is quite outdated if you compare them) So is it a hardy package mistake or wine-pthread really disappear ? I'm trying to install MS office 2007 standard trial using Playonlinux on Wine 1.3.8. I need to install stuff like MSXML, .net 2 etc... but when I start installing them, a dialog pops up saying 'choose a prefix to patch'... and the list below is empty. If I forward the dialog just closes.

Hi, I've tested wine 1.0rc5 today with fully up-to-date Debian testing and latest NVIDIA Driver and Guld Wars and here my report : -Incredibly slow (run over-smoothly on the same system with windows XP) -Absolutlly no shaders displayed (char over-bright, horrible effects, ect...) -Texture problem in loggin screen (i can see "junction" of texture in the background) I've tested

...ave the original version and want to update to enhanced version with patch 1.4 but since wine is not able to handle copy protection and the 1.4 patch need online verification (so copy protection active and running) is there a way to install this patch ??
