UDP unicast network backend (QEMU)
...VMs have bridges on them. When I used the TCP tunnel
interface, if the client came up before the server end, the connection
failed to establish. So both methods not super reliable.
If I manually change the netdev settings to use unicast udp tunneling the
connection is way more stable just like the GNS3 connections.
Has anyone written support for UDP unicast network backend for QEMU and the
patch is awaiting review?
Searched mailing list and couldn't find a bug covering this.
Just want to be sure no one has worked on this before creating a patch to
add this support.

[Bridge] Option to forward *unconditionally* on a bridge?
...R: Is there a way to force a bridge to forward anything and
everything on all ports (except the ingress port) *regardles* of
any permanent FDB entries (such as the MAC addresses of interfaces
acting as bridge ports)?
For context, I'm using a network-namespace (container) based simulator
(think GNS3 or CORE), which allow me to run multiple FRR instances
in their own dedicated netns, connected together by veth pairs and
bridges.
To bridge this simulation outside the machine hosting it, the
simulators allow host machine interfaces to be bridged to bridges
and veth pairs that belong to the simul...

Simulate Network Cable Disconnect
Hello All,
I am having trouble simulating a network cable disconnect with KVM. I
would like to test active backup bonding for a switch IOS upgrade in a
production environment.
Basically I have the VM running on a bridged network which is also tied
into GNS3 simulating a small-scale version of the production
environment.
I have tried bringing down the vnetX interface and the actual virtual
network itself (virbrX) with no luck.
Has anyone had to do this before/maybe knows some tips?
If more info is required about my setup, I can give it.
Thanks!
