Problems running e-sword on Ubuntu
Hi. I'm new to Linux and I'm running Gnome 2.28.1 on Ubuntu 9.10. I've never used Wine before but installed it with no problem. I used it to install e-sword, which went fine but now I can't get e-sword to work. I can double-click the link on the desktop or i can single-click the link in the wine section in the applications menu, but nothing happens at all.

I personally use gnomesword2. I have not idea about any other WINE ports... but I find gnomesword2 to be effective.

Sword Project for centos 5
Hi!
Anyone know of RPMS for the Sword Project (and Bibletime and/or
GnomeSword) for Centos5/RHEL5?
Latest RPMS I've found have a ton of dependencies, some of which are older
than packages I've already got.

Would like to run PC Study Bible
Would like to run PC Study Bible ver. 2 from BibleSoft on Linux. Research has led me to WINE. I am new to Linux, have Mandriva 2009 installed. I just DL'ed WINE for Mandriva 2009, and got it going. I tried to install PC Study bible from CD, no dice. I then copied the entire contents of PC Study Bible folder from a windows computer to flash drive and copied it to Linux computer. Still

need help using WINE
how do I add a program to wine? Wine comes with Notepad and that works
well but how do I install the e-Sword.exe I want to use? I also saw a
iexplore.exe - can I use Internet explorer in Ubuntu Linux and if so, how
do I do that? Thanks much for any help ...
