winetricks vcrun2005 does not appear to install system32 dll
I'm a newbie, sorry in advance :p I have been searching here and reading threads and can't seem to find an answer, hence this post. I saw a nice example of what I am trying to do so I'll copy that format and perhaps it will illustrate better than I can explain. I'm using Ubuntu Hardy, 64bit. dinput_test works but WINEDEBUG shows no joystick for game?
This is a continuation/evolution of what I've been trying to do, get some response from my controller(s) in Guitar Hero 3. I compiled wine (with some help :) and manually copied the dinput_test.exe.so file into my /usr/lib32/wine directory and made it's permissions match the other exe.so files (644). Hello! I have installed Wine 0.9.55 (pretty sure of that) on my Mandriva 2008. I tried to install the game GUN from Neversoft. (It works fine on windows Vista). On the distribution it says that it is compatible on Windows 2000 and XP. But when I try to install it it seems to work, but when I try to run it I get an error in a popup. Right now I'm at office and do not exactly remember the

Hi Folks, One key goal for Wine 1.0 is that all of its conformance tests run successfully on nearly all systems. We would really like your help in figuring out how close we are to that goal. To that end, if you are comfortable with checking Wine out via git, could you please visit this page: http://wiki.winehq.org/MakeTestFailures and follow the instructions there? (It's really simple;
