forward stepwise selection
.... Hence I wanted to start with just a constant and do forward
selection, to get a new starting model for full stepwise selection again.
But R (version 0.99.0) doesn't like this.
> step(lm(ANB.DIFF~.,tink4),trace=0)
Call:
lm(formula = ANB.DIFF ~ SEX + AGE.YRS + OJS + S.AR1 + CD.GO1 + CD.GN1 +

Getting the R squared value in asymptotic regression model
Please help getting the R squared value in asymptotic regression model
I use the code below
model1<-nls(GN1~SSasymp (nrate,a,b,c), data = data.1 )
and R produced the modell coefficients without the R squared value?

Fwd: Help with nonlinear regression
...on Model**
* * below is the equation of the model (Reference the R book page 662)*
y = a - b e^-cx when I compensate x with 50 for instance, I get a very high
value does not match the graph produced by the same model (Asymptotic
regression model).
below is the output analysis from R;
Formula: GN1 ~ SSasymp(nrate, a, b, c)
Parameters:

samba as pdc in Ubuntu dapper, fails on ps$ join?
Hola,
I've done everything as correct as I can see in smb.conf under fresh ubuntu 6.06 fully
updated install to have it run as a PDC on hostname florentine, domain DAVEYST.
There are no testparm errors.
I've added users with useradd and smbpasswd -a
I've added machines with useradd and smbpasswd -a -m
I can see the server in my network neighbourhood and access/browse folders on
